The 2011 arts & craft program  runs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There is a new teacher Ingrid, who has r continued the great work Susanne Cavanaugh has done over many years. Members will be learning pottery, clay work, painting, and model making. Places are limited so if you're interested please contact Total recreation on 8981 3686.

Tenpin Bowling

The winners league is a competitive tenpin bowling league played each Saturday at Planet Tenpin. Bowlers play in pairs and play 3 games. The league now has over 20 blowers involved and are instructed by the NT Tenpin Bowling Disability team coach Kaye Talbot. 


If you are interested in joining in for a social bowl or looking to train for the nationals this league offers is for you. Cost is $15.50, the league runs from 12:00-1:30. Contact Total Recreation to find out more information or to book in.

 

Horse Riding-Riding for the Disabled

 

Total Recreation is looking for members who are interested in horse riding and horse care. The program involves participants learning how to care for horses, general horsemanship and horse riding. The program will be run by Riding for the Disabled, a Palmerston based organisation that caters to people with a disability. So if you love horses, want to learn how to ride and want to be involved, please contact Total Recreation on 8981 3686.


 

Total Recreation offers a range of holidays each year, ranging from weekend trips to week long adventures. In the past Total Recreation have taken groups to Gold Coast, Bali, New Zealand, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Cairns, Mandorah, Dundee and many more.

The holidays are advertised in our newsletter , we offer a minimum of 2 major holidays each year and also a number of  short 'great away' holidays. 

This years major holidays include the Tamworth Country Music Festival, NZ adventure experience and Brisbane to see Cirque Du Soliel.

Socials & Special Events

Total Recreation runs socials once a fortnight  on a Friday evening and generally include a community based activity and dinner. These socials provide the opportunity for our members to socialise with friends and enjoy activities such as going to the movies,  tenpin bowling, indoor sports, live music, dancing and karaoke.
